The best way to reach Infested Playground LLC about a MOTHERLODE support issue is by email.
[email protected]What to include in a bug report
A good report helps us reproduce the problem and get to the useful part faster. When possible, include:
- A short description of what happened and what you expected instead.
- The steps that led to the issue.
- Your MOTHERLODE build/version marker, shown in the game interface.
- Your Windows version and whether the issue happens every time.
- A screenshot, short video, or exact error message when relevant.
- For multiplayer issues, whether you were hosting or joining and whether the connection was LAN or Internet.
Demo installation
The current standalone demo is distributed as a Windows ZIP file. Download the ZIP, extract its contents to a normal folder, then run MOTHERLODE_DEMO.exe from the extracted folder.
Do not run the executable from inside the compressed ZIP. If a new demo build replaces an older one, extract the new build into its own clean folder rather than mixing files from different builds.
Multiplayer help
MOTHERLODE multiplayer connections are direct to the host. LAN servers are discovered in-game. Internet hosts can advertise through the public server directory, but the directory does not relay the game connection.
- If a LAN server is missing, confirm both machines are on the same local network and that the host is running a multiplayer session.
- If an Internet server is listed but cannot be joined, the host's game port still needs to be reachable from the Internet.
- Public listings disappear automatically after the host stops advertising/heartbeating.
Active development
MOTHERLODE is actively being developed. Features, balance, presentation, networking, and compatibility may change as the game moves toward release. Support reports about reproducible issues help us improve the game.
